Eendracht Boutique Hotel offers
wireless internet access.
Eendracht Boutique Hotel is the first privately owned Hotel in South
Africa to be a fully internationally integrated Hotspot - Wireless
Internet.
This award-winning hotel has done it again. Not only is it in the
historic centre of the oldest town (Stellenbosch) in South Africa.
It is now offering cutting edge technology by being a fully internationally
integrated hotspot!
“Eendracht’s – known for its hospitality and high
standard of service – motto is and will always be: “We
sell sleep”. But if we can make the experience for our esteemed
guest more enjoyable, we will stop at almost nothing to provide
it”. says Daniël Lutz, proud owner of Eendracht.
The hotel that caters for the Tech conscious businessmen and tourist
alike, offers wireless Internet access in all its rooms and public
areas inside and outside, including in its popular coffee bar –
Koffieklets.
“The technology used is internationally compatible as 802.11b
protocol.” says Daniël Lutz. The service provider is
WirelessG Hotspots and the agents are Mobyl Business Systems CC.
WirelessG is powered by Wi Fi (Wi Fidelity), which makes it easy
for many existing users to link up. New users can get a card at
the hotel, plug in and use – as easy as 1-2-3. A user can
buy time in Holland and use it at Eendracht and vice versa!
This Boutique Hotel was erected on the sixth oldest site in Stellenbosch,
next to the Village Museum that forms the core of the historic town.
Eendracht has been rebuilt in the original architectural style and
the site of this double storey building is on the original part
of the island on which Simon van der Stel camped during his first
exploration of the valley.
